STILL TALES, SMALL PROPOSALS FOR A
BETTER FUTURE WITH FRANCISCO MOURA VEIGA
Both the photographs and the architecture projects presented in this small exhibition are rooted in a strong awareness of the great power contained in trivial decisions, in the constant, in the quotidian. The tales they tell are detached from the immediacy of monetary value and of implicit consumption even if for the briefest of moments. They push reality away in order to be able to look back at it with a critical gaze. The potential of pla- ces to be stages for friendship, for play, for festivity, for civility and collaboration
is celebrated in each shot of the camera, each stroke of the digital pincel, each line stretched over the scaleless black back- ground.
